Xbox Friends Offline and Unable to Send Invites

Yesterday, I spent hours playing a game with a friend who hosted it.
Now, when I try to invite them, the invite doesn’t show up.
We both appear to be offline.
Has anyone else experienced any issues when it comes to hosting or playing with friends?
Same exact issue as well
