Brazilian Dynasty
Brazil has never staged an Age of Empires II event on this scale. The Brazilian Dynasty is a $45,500 offline tournament hosted by Onimaru Esports that brings twelve of the world’s strongest players to São Paulo from July 1 to 5, 2026 for five days of LAN competition. Played in front of a live crowd rather than over the internet, it is set to be one of the defining South American moments of the 2026 Age of Empires 2 calendar.
PRIZE POOL
The complete $45,500 USD prize pool, backed by World’s Edge, is paid out across all twelve seeds, so every invited and qualified player leaves with a share of the money. Here is how the prize money is distributed:
| Placement | Prize |
|---|---|
| 1st | $10,000 |
| 2nd | $7,000 |
| 3rd – 4th | $4,500 |
| 5th – 8th | $2,750 |
| 9th – 10th | $2,250 |
| 11th – 12th | $2,000 |
FORMAT
The Brazilian Dynasty is split into a Swiss group stage that thins the field, followed by a single-elimination bracket to crown the champion.
Group Stage
- Swiss system played over multiple rounds
- Every series is a Best of 3
- The top finishers carry through to the playoff bracket
Playoffs
- Single-elimination bracket
- Quarterfinals: Best of 5
- Semifinals: Best of 7
- Grand Final: Best of 7
VENUE
What sets this event apart is that it is a true LAN. The group stage is played at Team Liquid’s Alienware Training Facility in São Paulo, before the action moves to the Espaço Center for the playoff weekend. Bringing the best players from Europe, Asia and the Americas onto Brazilian soil makes the Brazilian Dynasty a rare offline showcase for the region.
