January 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6802NesquGuestYou mean get access to obscenely OP techs with no nerfs to their previous bonuses?
I just want slavs to have the best, by far, farms again.
Right now I think both poles and khmer are better than them.
January 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6815DocSanchezAOE2GuestNone, Indians were a good civ and splitting botched them.
January 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6814alejito29GuestWe need more New World civs like olmec, toltec and pueblo people or something like that
January 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6813Embarrassed-Bus-8591GuestNah, Britons should be split into Kent, Essex, Sussex, Wessex, East Anglia, Mercia, and Northumbria.
Also then add Welsh and Irish empires.
In all seriousness, after a certain point, splitting up civilizations makes it difficult to jump into the game.
I’ve never heard of several of these newer civs.
January 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6812AngsDGuestAll in my opinion.
Alright, so the options…
Burgundians can maybe be split into a lowlands civ, but I think the current setup is appropriate.
Chinese would be lovely to see different dynasties of, to show the vast differences between them, and explore different facets of their military.
But they are a classic civ and should have more added (maybe original renamed) rather than being split up,
Italians is a civ group, but we already have two civs for the area, even if the Sicilians are part Normans.
Saracens is another that could have more added similarly to Chinese.
Slavs shouldn’t get a split at this point, since the most important subsections are covered now.
Teutons…
So Germanic peoples/HRE stuff.
We already have Goths, Burgundians, Franks, Italians and Bohemians.
No real reason for me to see a distinction here for Europe, which is already quite filled.
It’s telling to me that 4/6 of these are European civs, when it’s ROTW that needs the most filling in, imo. ^^ Detail is great, but dev resources are limited.
January 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6811_-___-_____-GuestI’d say Chinese, Saracens, and maybe Persians
January 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6810Character_Pitch_4582GuestGuys, this game isn’t EU4.
You can’t add every single culture that existed in the Middle Ages.
January 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6809Desh282GuestNone.
Give me Georgians, Armenians, Tibetans, and Cahokians and my life will be complete
Some more African civs would be delicious tooJanuary 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6808_genadeGuestChinese, but Saracens are a second choice.
Slavs don’t need to be split.
They already are and should simply be renamed to Rus.
January 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6807vettakkaaranGuestSlavs have been split.
They need a name change.
Italians have been split.
But for a name change there are numerous tiny city states we shouldn’t take seriously.
Teutons can be changed to Germans or be kept the same.
Saracens kinda deserve it but it’s a tricky one to split.
Burgundians.
I think you kept that as a joke?
Chinese.
I wouldn’t call it a split but I’d love to see Tibetans, Jurchens, and Nanzhong.
For those asking for Italian or Teuton split, kindly note that’ll be like splitting the Gurjaras.
There are dozens of Rajput states that lasted for more centuries unconquered like the Italian or HRE city states.
It would be unfair to give it one name while ignoring the rest.
So an umbrella term is better for those.
As for a split, Dravidians deserve it too.
This is a language family and not a civilisation.
Spans from Iran to Sri Lanka.
That’d be like naming a civ “Indo-Europeans” or “Niger-Congo”.
The in game civ is clearly just Tamil (which can be split further but I wouldn’t recommend it over just a name change).
January 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6806DukeCanadaGuestLowkey Saracans is a bit of an old stereotype.
There was no “Saracen” civilization.
It probably needs to be broken down into the various Egyptian, Levantine, Syrian, & Middle Eastern civilizations that existed
January 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6805Suicidal_SayoriGuestI want Burgundians to get back inside Franks 11
January 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6804PoX_WargameGuestYou absolutely missed the Vikings, which could be easily split in Danes and Swedes or something and there never was a cohesive Viking civilization.
January 30, 2023 at 6:14 pm #6803WannaAskQuestionsGuestNone option, where?
