To acknowledge their castle age as very disappointing.
If it seems too powerful, we can modify it to say “only the halberdier upgrade is accessible during the castle age.”
could pull a Burgundians and just do “Barracks techs 33% discount, available 1 age earlier”
actually researching Longswords/pikes would kill your castle timing, unless you click it on the way up
What Dravidian lack is mobility ..
adding extra on barracks won’t help them.
Unless they get a UT to improve speed of their infantry.
How about “Squires affect Villagers” , kinda like Fervor for Bohemians
Dravidians need a massive tech tree and UT rework.
Better:
– infantry upgrades dont cost gold
– blacksmith upgrades are available one age earlier(expensive but great power spike for archers AND infantry).This should help them on open maps and not really affect them on closed map.

pikes and halbs are not very good at dealing damage.
So its not a winning move.
Its really a defensive play.

That would be a massacre.
Dont nerf them.
I always love picking them after a loosing streak and once i win with them i always imagine the opponent being frustrated like “omg – i lost against dravidians!”
