I was considering purchasing a strategy guide for this game.
Do they even make them?
Is it worth it?
There was a strategy guide for the CD version written by one of the devs but nowadays you basically get the same through YouTube and mods like “Interactive Build Order Guide”
Tbh it’s not worth buying guides.
Plenty of builds available for free online.
Cicero build orders most common for beginner builds.
Youtube is default guide for every thing now.
Which one are you talking about?
Im only aware of the 1999 handbook which explains the 13 base civilisations.

There’s quite a few good youtubers, if you’ve gone through both the tutorial campaigns spirit of the law is good for general strategy.
Sometimes his maths based arguements for how effective stuff is is a bit questionable, in actual practice,but at least he backs up his arguments.
