It’s a well-known fact that knights have been a staple in the game for a long time. However, their upgrades can be quite expensive, requiring a lot of gold resources. It’s also easy to tell when your opponent is planning to use knights, so it’s best to anticipate it and come up with a better strategy.
Knights are great, they are in a perfect spot.
Probably should put husbandry back where it was but that’s about it.
At lower-mid Elos knights are really strong. Its normal that people complain.
OPs right. Crossbow/arb were nerfed because they were too strong against knights, and frankly because of DE pathing. Their nerf doesn’t set a precedent for knights to also be nerfed.
Agreed. Knights are THE SAME AS EVER. The difference is in how effective players have become using them. Still, countered? Yes. They are the STANDARD heavy cavalry so of course they are a very direct unit to counter
OP since the dawn of time. Hell even in age of empire 1 are the epitome of OP.
Knights just suck because any idiot can spam them at 1k Elo and do very well.
unless youre planning on *telling us* how to play against them, this post is completely pointless
> Seriously people – knights have been in the game forever.
Grandfathering and nostalgia are not excuses.
Franks are overpowered right now. Knights have gone unnerfed while xbows did.
> Seriously people – knights have been in the game forever. They’re very good
100% correct.
Move along people, nothing to see here.
Swordsman line – 10 food cost, pike line – 5 food cost: there you go, cavalry nerfed (monks are already amazing to counter knights)
I lose playing knights, I lose playing against knights. I’m under powered, buff me.
Knighgs are by far the best unit in castle age. That said, something has to be the best.
I really hate these posts that are actually replies to posts.
For some reason your opinion is so important that it needs to be it’s own post to show everyone the real truth.
