The top-tier players in the ranking are based on their performance in the TTL2 and NAC4 tournaments.

Hera is the clear leader of the top tier, having been a finalist in TTL2 and winning NAC4.

Viper also performed well in both tournaments, winning TTL2 and getting to the semi-finals of NAC4.

Liereyy is a consistent performer but has struggled against Hera.

The next tier of players includes Villese, who consistently beats Viper and performed well in the group stages of both tournaments.

Mr Yo has a slight advantage over Tatoh due to better group stage performance in TTL2.

    Tatoh struggles against top-tier players.

The lowest tier includes Jordan, who did well in the group stages of TTL2 but had a disappointing showing in NAC4.

ACCM showed promise in TTL2 but had a very poor performance in NAC4.

Nicov is an average performer and is not expected to make it past the quarter-finals.

Vinchester had a rough start to the year despite being in good form last year.

Honorable mentions go to Daut, who was missing in NAC4, and MBL, who has potential but has yet to fully live up to it.

The best commentators are Dave and Membtv, with Dave’s soothing voice being entertaining and T90’s insights being better, but less exciting.

Jordan is the best spirited player, always staying positive despite losing many games.

I was thinking a lot about this the other day.

    Here’s my personal current ranking:

    1.

    Hera

    2.

    Lierrey

    3.

    Viper

    Next tier

    4.

    Yo

    5.

    TatoH

    6.

    Villese

    Next tier

    7.

    Vinchester

    8.

Nicov (up here solely bc of NAC4, most of the time I’d have him as 10 or even lower behind dogao, maybe daut or MbL).

    9.

    ACCM

    10.

    Jordan

    11.

    Daut

    12.

    Dogao

The level is so close that it’s entirely reasonable that dogao could beat tatoh, etc, so these ranking don’t mean a ton except that those top 3 are pretty dominant.

I like Jordan for the vibes.

If he ever doesn’t qualify I’d like him to come along for group morale

Good call on Jordan and his good sportsmanship.

I’d put the viper lower, tbh, he looked really bad (for him) in NAC4

Lol at Viper not being the GOAT by far…this was him while suffering from choalangitis.

Dave and T90 together are like Bobby The Brain Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon of AoE casting.

i’d say hera is clearly #1, but i’d put liereyy at #2.

he was the runner up in red bull wololo, grand melee and nac4.

i wouldnt rate ttl as high as the other tourneys.

    > okayish form in NAC4

Not to be a fanboy (which I totally am tbf), but he was dealing with gallstone issues and spend all the time he was off-screen in his hotel room trying to manage his pain.

He talked a bit more about this on the recent podcast, but basically he did not train at all between sets, also was on painkillers for the entire tournament since day four.

Hera more than deserved to win NAC4 and it was not the only tournament where he was super impressive, I think it’s super reasonable to put him on top as the player who is most in form right now.

Just saying it’s difficult to judge Viper’s standings from NAC.

On a side note, if you take the last four S-tier tournaments.

They’ve been won by Viper (Warlords), Hera (Grand Melee), Viper (TTL) and then Hera again (NAC).

Further cementing these two players as being the current top two imo.

Also worth to mention, Lierrey is the only other player who got a top-two finish in these four tournaments.
