Question About Comparing Skirmisher to CA Challenge

I have always employed various skirmish scenarios to accomplish objectives.
However, I’m at a loss as to how to compel AI to set up skirmishes so that I can just create an Infantry Resource Tatar CA.
Can anyone lend a hand?
Fortunately, I was able to solve the issue by running a DM skirmish.

You can actually just create a scenario in the editor, save it and load it as a custom scenario.
That’s how I also did the Spears vs Knights challenge
Make a few cavalry archers, raid periodically.
The AI should start making skirms as a response.
Then make a load of cavalry archers and pick them off as they come out of the archery ranges.
Maybe give them Dravidians or Bengalis?
Usually they make skirms for me so maybe making them Vietnamese or dravidians and upping the difficulty will get them to make the worst unit in the game
