Can somebody provide me with clear guidelines to install the Age of Chivalry: Hegemony mod for Age of Empires II: The Conquerors?
The challenge is to locate a legitimate 2000 version of the game over the internet, be it Gold Edition or only AoE II: The Conquerors, which I am currently struggling to secure.
I would be extremely grateful for any assistance.
To install the Age of Chivalry mod for Age of Empires II, you can follow these steps:
Download the mod: You can download the Age of Chivalry mod from the mod’s official website or from a trusted modding website.
Make sure to download the version compatible with your Age of Empires II game.
Extract the files: After downloading, extract the contents of the downloaded file to a new folder on your desktop.
Locate the Age of Empires II installation folder: The default installation path for Age of Empires II is usually “C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesAge of Empires II”.
If you have installed the game in a different location, navigate to that folder.
Copy the mod files: Open the extracted folder containing the mod files, and copy all the files (usually with .dll and .dat file extensions) to the “Age of Empires II” installation folder.
Enable the mod: Start Age of Empires II, and select “Single Player” from the main menu.
