While I was waiting for my friend to join, I decided to play a game of 1v1.

When he arrived earlier than anticipated, I thought of trying something I had experienced before.

I pulled my villagers away from their tasks and built my Town Center right in front of my opponent’s.

I kept firing arrows and repairing my TC, leaving my opponent clueless.

Is this a form of toxic play?

I had encountered this tactic before and it gave me the idea.

Gotta applaud doing the Persian Douche with Chinese, what with having basically no relevant bonuses, I’m kind of surprised it worked.

Not toxic, I just don’t think it is a good strategy.

No it’s not toxic, it’s fun.

Toxic play is being a sore loser/winner by spamming taunts.

lol not toxic although some aoe players will cry when this happens because they just want to micro xbows or quickwall their berries from scouts

No, it’s not toxic play and can make for some real fun games.

It is just the build order try hards who cry about it.

Hey, pretty impressive you pulled it off.

I don’t really think it’s toxic at all, I feel an attentive player should notice a TC being built right near to their own.

I think the main reason it worked even though you weren’t playing the Persians is likely just because the dude was focused on their build order and wasn’t anticipating it.
