Has the Updated Controller Feature Been Installed on the PC Version Yet?

I am eager to give the Xbox controls a go on my Steam Deck.
I had thought they would have patched the new controls on the day the Xbox version was released, but I have not seen a way to turn on the controller.
Have I overlooked something or has the PC version not been patched yet?
Devs say something about pc controller support ??
