I have a group of buddies whom I used to play Age of Empires II with when I was younger.

I have been attempting to get them to join me in playing the Definitive Edition, but they all have Mac computers.

Has anyone tested out the Xbox Gamepass Cloud version in a web browser?

I am wondering if it is compatible with MacOS and if the gaming experience is satisfactory.

    I’m playing this game 50/50 on tv-series S, and on cloud-iPhone 14 with a backbone.

On my tv zero issues it’s amazing, and I’m having a blast, I’m afraid to see how many hours I’ve played so far, it’s significant.

On my phone, it depends but is mostly positive.

At work on 5G it’s aight, and I can deal with some slow and fuzzy graphics for a min here And there for convince, it’s a 30 min lunch, so it’s not a serious game.

At home on my wifi it’s solid zero issues smooth and looks great, no slowdowns beyond what I’d have on the series s late game max players max popcap and the crazy big mad typical stuff.

If I didn’t have a backbone before I’d get one now just for this game, it’s so good

    Xcloud works pretty well.

Obviously streaming is different for everyone based on internet speeds and proximity to data centers but it works pretty well and has a lot of convenience.

Especially compared to GeForce now, if your friends don’t have the game purchased already they can just play via gamepass and Xcloud is included in the subscription fee.

GeForce now you have to buy the game via steam and then pay a subscription fee to stream, the free tier only allows you to play for an hour and the queue line is always massive.
