Excluding the Mayans as they have already implemented a strategy to make their resources durable, the Tatars and Malians have unique advantages with their herdables and gold mines respectively.
It would be beneficial for a civilization to have a similar bonus for their Stone Mines, as it will aid in constructing more structures like Castles and towers.
The question that arises is whether this bonus should be given to an existing civilization or reserved for a future one.
POLES
A new one, probably African, which is a land very rich in minerals and raw materials.
I gave it to Somalis on one of my civ concepts and it feels like a very interesting bonus for a defensive civ reliant on its Unique Unit.
From existing ones, Koreans or Incas
Armenians
None.
Unfortunately I don’t see how this opens up any cool new strategies, that push the game forward or in another direciton.
All I see is that more stone makes games longer, but not necessarily more exciting.
All the stone buildings apart from the output slow the game down.
Another castle to siege, another TC for more boom and more protection, possibly more stone walls …
not a fan.
A current one?
Probably Koreans as mentioned here.
I’d give it to the Mixtecs if they are ever added tho (and they absolutely should be)
Chimor, if they do a Inca split or extra Meso Civs one day.
Sicilians!
MOAR DONJON!
A new African civ, Zimbabweans / Shona
[Great Zimbabwe](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Zimbabwe)
Byzantines
sicilians
I’d say give it to Koreans except it would just make them better in the few situations where they are actually good already
Slavs to make detinets really shine.
op the Franks with this idea
Sicilians should get stone mines last 20% longer so we can then nerf it right after by 200%.
