My trial period for GamePass that cost me $1 is almost over.
I want to buy the game and play it on my PC.
I’ve been using PC Gamepass for the past month, and it has been great.
However, I’m confused because when I checked the Gamepass website, the price displayed for AOE 2 is $22 plus Gamepass.
Does it mean that I have to pay $22 for the game and also subscribe to Gamepass for $10 per month?
I was under the impression that it would be either Gamepass or buying outright.
Can you please clarify this for me?

It comes “free” with game pass.
The $22 is the discount game pass price for if you want to own it forever as well.
If you have game pass there isn’t much of a reason to buy it.
Personally, I ended up buying it on steam because the windows store kept bugging out for me.
it’s currently 10 GBP, 13 USD, 13 EUR on steam (base game, no new expansions)

If you use Gamepass to try new games, then keep it and just use the free AoE2.
If you’re only using Gamepass for AoE2, then it would be better to buy it from Steam, since they usually have better sales.
I’ve seen it as cheap as $8 in the past.
Man, just get it on Steam.
