What Are the Methods Used by Extreme AI to Cheat?

I observed that the AI began to gather stone in the arena just as I did.
It was unable to see me taking stone from within the boundaries of my base, which makes me believe that it was cheating.
I’m almost certain that the AI wouldn’t have collected stone if I hadn’t been doing so.
Additionally, it delayed advancing to the Castle Age by reassigning two gold miners to gather stone, which was a strange decision and makes me think that it was being forced to do so by an external trigger.
This leads me to wonder if there are any other cheats the AI uses.
I barely remember an interview with the creator of the AI.
It doesn’t cheat, but it does seem to know your military count.
The AI likes to build a castle on arena, that’s not unusual.
Maybe try a few different strategies to see if it really adapts to them without having any information.
Extreme AI decidedly doesn’t cheat.
If you don’t believe it, you can read its script yourself and see how it works.
You’re basing your 99% sure theory in a singular game where AI did something that’s not uncommon, just out of lucky timing.
Think better
No the old ai cheats (seriously the cd ai goes to feudal age in 5 mins).
The new one doesn’t, I think it might be a coincidence or just good strategy from it (castle dropping is a classic arena strat).
Also which civ were you guys, the ai might look at the match up and predict a castle drop from you or might try one of its own to counter a boom.
Lastly I often see the ai go for defensive towers to secure their base so they might be mining for a tc or more towers/a castle.
