We have been experiencing sudden and unexpected crashes for several months now.
Personally, I have been encountering this issue since January and no proper solution has been provided yet.
As a result, I have lost 4 ranked games, with only one loss being due to my poor gameplay.
The remaining 3 losses were a result of these crashes.
While I acknowledge my lack of skills, I would like to lose games based on my own abilities and not due to these glitches.
March 12, 2023 at 5:03 am #19582BigTastyBaconAOEGuestIt is a relatively small dev team.
They work with a 20+ year old code.
What do you expect?
Give them time, they are doing their best.
March 12, 2023 at 5:03 am #19583Default_Username2774GuestThe devs are not only trying to iterate on code written during the Clinton administration, but *simultaneously* maintaining the same game optimized for Xbox which it turns out breaks differently despite its reputation of just being Windows with extra steps.
I expect that about 35% of the dev team is allowed to work on the crashing issues while the other 65% are making the biggest content update in the history of mankind, and all of them are spending 2 hours a day in stand up meetings giving the same status update to their managers that they gave two hours earlier.
There’s probably one senior engineer on the team with solid Xbox expertise, and that person is either on vacation or in jail.
Nothing is properly documented and Teams keeps going down when they try to collaborate.
If you can’t wait, you can play another game you can pay $20 for once on a steam sale and expect dedicated servers, no ads, no microtransactions, continuous maintenance, and content updates, forever.
Alternatively, now is a great time to get your campaign achievements or get into CBA.
March 12, 2023 at 5:03 am #19584L0hasGuestwell they did try a new update recently, but that made everything worse so they undid it in less than a day.
I guess the console support made everything a lot more complicated than expected and there is a lot to fix.
I only play 1v1 on pc and had a single crash since the xbox release.
I know others that got a lot more crashes since then.
One random fix that helped some players is installing the game on a different drive than your operating system, if that is an option for you.
March 12, 2023 at 5:03 am #19585louis1245GuestCoding is not easy.
I think they are doing a great job.
March 12, 2023 at 5:03 am #19586Failspecialist1GuestYo bitch louder for me please, i cant hear you over the sound of this fucking awesome game that shouldnt even be alive now much less still pushing content.
Dont like it?
Fuck off.
March 12, 2023 at 5:03 am #19587FelizonGuestUpdate 75350 had many people crashing, but it was released in February.
You are having crashes since january, it could be a different issue than the software itself.
Do you have Windows and Graphic Card driver up to date?
Are you using an antivirus?
Do you have an intel Iris GPU?
Thanks for the report.
March 12, 2023 at 5:03 am #19588IhaveSonarGuestI think they do a good job given the resources and corporate management they likely have.
However, they really could use to communicate more frequently to allay posts like this one.
