I have observed that when I create villagers from a recently constructed TC, they do not proceed to their assigned task and remain still.

I am unsure if this is a glitch or not.

However, I have noticed that changing the assigned task multiple times or positioning it farther away appears to resolve the issue.

Is there a reliable solution to this problem when playing a game?

You need to set a waypoint for your newly built Town Center after it is built and that is where your newly created Villagers from that Town Center will go to.

I can’t reproduce this issue.

Are you on PC or Xbox?

Could you record a video showing the steps to reproduce?

I built a new TC, then set a waypoint and the villagers move there when they spawn.
