Hey everyone,
Can someone explain to me how the Swiss system is being implemented in this particular case? I am familiar with this system from various chess tournaments and have even used online tools to create my own tournaments, where I input players’ ratings and let the tools do the work. In round one, I got exactly the same matchups, but for round two, I may need to impose some restrictions to come up with fair matchups. I am not saying anything is wrong with the system, but I am curious to know the exact rules being applied. For example, some tournaments have certain restrictions on players from specific countries in certain rounds.
Thanks for your answers.
Unless I’m missing something, it’s just done on game score > seeding.
There’s a mistake in the Liquipedia table in that Vinch should be above Nicov but that’s correctly represented in today’s matchups (Vinch vs Yo)
