Should There Be an Option to Declare a Draw Without Affecting ELO Ratings in Team Games When a Player Drops or is AFK?

There should be a choice to declare a draw with no one gaining or losing ELO.
This could be used in team games when a player suddenly abandons the game, or is AFK, as it would be pointless to continue playing in such cases.
This would also help avoid ELO inflation, and could be based on the same concept as the rematch option.
Why not have a system where if a teammate you did not queue with leaves very early, you can leave without penalty?
This just happened to me, one opponent DC instantly and the team mates resigned.
But I did t get any elo.
No, that gives bad losers a way out.
They can propose a draw and threaten to grief you by dragging the game out if you don’t accept.
Yeah but people are gonna abuse it… there are lots of people who will just hit draw in a loosing game… even if you both need to accept it they can just abuse the option till you get tilted
If one player drops in a team game, hit pause and ask someone on the team with more players to resign to even it back out.
Otherwise the game ends for all 7 players left.
So, build up the tension for nothing?
Some late game TGs with yolo plays, trade sniping squads, base trades, etc are insane.
Most long arena games start 4v4, become 3v3 as opposite flanks die on each team but that pocket is Uber boomed and the game stalls until the two dead players are back into the game and boast 180 vill high in post game stats.
Every drop should end in a draw for everyone but the player that drops/leaves.
And he should be penalized and not be able to queue.
Bro I’m taking whatever wins I can get at this point..
I’d love a draw option with how unstable the servers are at the moment.
I’m 100 elo above where I should be in 1v1 RM, mostly because of people crashing and me becoming a god on Hideout.

issue with the ‘drop’ thing is that its VERY easy to trick a server about a drop.
unplug cable, reset router etc.
ppl would use it to force a draw and NOT lose elo.
Huge yes to this.
As someone who doesn’t particularly belove post-imp trash wars for over an hour real time, I love this idea.
I remember this super long game, 1vs1, where we both had exhausted nearly all resources on the map, we were both walled, and whenever we put together enough resources, mainly from relics, we would send armies that would die, again and again, until the other guy resigned after a very long time.
I was about to resign too.
That could have been a draw.
Yeah, that’s what the good old “Save and Exit” option let people do in the original game.
On Voobly both players could agree to that and leave without changing Elo.
