Should Multiple Civilizations Have Access to Unique Buildings?

For instance, the Caravanserai was originally created by the Persians, but it was assigned to the Hindustanis in the game.
What if both Persians and Hindustanis had the ability to construct it in the game?
Similarly, there may be other exceptional structures that could fit into this category.
Do you believe that any other civilizations should be able to construct such structures in the game?
If persians need a buff why not.
I would not like a civ with more than 2/3 unique buildings though.
Not sure if you were inspired by the mention of such a move elsewhere, but yes I would back the Caravanserai being made a shared building between Hindustanis and Persians.
Technically the Hindustanis are Turco-Persians.
I think regional buildings could be a thing, but balance is always the question.
Since the different civs represent different time periods of said civ, who invented something isn’t always translated into the game.
It’s more about what the civ was known for in the time period they represent in the game.
Though balance also has a big influence
Like chinese with gunpowder, while being the inventory they don’t get access to gunpowder units.
While goths get BBC and hand cannons probably for balance reasons, but never actually used these.
On a conceptual level, sure.
Call them regional buildings
If that’s the case, they won’t be unique anymore
give south east asian civ power of spice like maybe farm where you change food to gold
the usual farm + the litteral gold farm
