I’m fascinated by the fact that Hera has played almost twice as many games as some of the other leading streamers in the top 25.
It’s remarkable that they all stream at roughly the same time and play mostly on stream, yet Hera has devoted a considerable amount of time to playing Age of Empires 4 and League of Legends.
Does he have a higher game count per stream than the others?
yes he grinds a lot
I’d be super surprised if it were 2x the amount.
I think another comment gave stats from the top accounts which show substantially more games.
Not 2x tho.
Another thing to bear in mind is alt accounts.
Hera mostly uses his main account.
Some others use multiple accounts frequently.
The most interesting was viper’s ‘the lefty’ account when he had wrist issues for a time, tho others use alt accounts much more.
It’d be interesting to know how many more games they play.
And maybe average time per game.
Cos Hera likes his scouts and early vill picks can end games early versus the slower paced styles of others.
And of course to see if these stereotypes match with the data 🙂
What site is the go-to at the moment when it comes to stats?
According to aoe2insights.com, Hera has played 5652 matches.
Jordan about 4000, Viper 3800, Tatoh 5200, Mr Yo 7600, Sitaux 9100, ACCM 6400.
Hera plays a lot but I don’t think 2x more than others is correct?
Other players also smurf/alt more often
Hera really carries the top tier of the ladder and streaming community and we owe him alot for providing.
Big thanks for the work you put into aoe2 Hera and I wish alot more higher ranked players played more 1v1s.
