I don’t mind fighting against Mongols, but I hate matching against Mongol lamers.

Which seems to be way too many of them, it’s annoying.

I do wish that the scout LoS bonus was moved to Feudal or something.

The most impressive thing about this is that players seem to have learned to play two civs at a time.

If reddit is to be believed everyone is simultaneously always Mongols and always Franks…

Thing with civ pickers is that you just need to hold for a specific time window and they dont have a clue if that build goes wrong because they dont belong at that elo level.

Thing with mongols is that you just need to defend early feudal with small wall etc.

Dont go maa or delayed drush.

Usually they reach feudal in 8.00-8.25 and you just need to defend early.

Defending against early scouts is easy but the issue is if that civ picker has brain cells more than number of scouts he will forward few skirms & couple of archers.

    Then the snowball happens 11.

Mongol scouts dont have more HP in Dark Age, and in Feudal Age neither.

    Not even in Castle Age.

Only when the Light Cav upgrade is researched, their +30% HP bonus kicks in.

As a 13xx who picks Mongols and leaves random enabled, I still lose 50% of the time 11

This is actually delightful because that’s exactly how their enemies felt irl.

A testament to how well the devs designed this civ.
