We are all very familiar with the bonuses that individual civilizations possess…

During the loading process, players are presented with tips regarding their civilization.

However, a more useful alternative would be to provide tips regarding the current map in play.

These could highlight special features or characteristics that are unique to the specific map.

For instance, the Mediterranean map always contains three Sheep in the neutral corner.

I like it, I feel like a tip for both wouldnt be a bad idea either.

I never read the tips anyway.

I choose random, I definitely wouldn’t want to lose the civ tip.

    Maybe have both?

The tip may be useful if you are picking random.

    Regardless, good suggestion!

Well, if you think you know all 40 civs so good you don’t need tip, do you think that a map tip would be very useful for Arabia only plebs?

It’d be great to have more than one tip and that could also include map tip, opponent civ tip, and more advanced things in general (like what unit is affected by thumb ring).

Maps on you to do diligence.

You can hover over each map in the pool and it gives helpful hints on where the fight is meant to be over and slight how to play it.
