Loading Screen Issue in Game

Lately, it seems like half of my team games are getting stuck on the loading screen with the player checks appearing next to the names.
After two minutes with no response, the game finally starts but at least one player has dropped by then.
In my last two games, my game closed while on the loading screen.
Additionally, I am experiencing occasional in-game freezes that can last from five to ten seconds, followed by the game speeding up to catch up with real-time.
This was not an issue in the past.
I am wondering if this is a problem with my computer or if the game has been having technical difficulties.
It is very frustrating to wait for four minutes to queue, three minutes to load, only to have someone drop and not be able to leave without a penalty.
It’s a well known bug by now, since the Xbox release, it’s almost guaranteed some one is going to crash when you’re in the loading screen more than you’re supposed to be.
