Combat Sounds Muted Completely

Have any of you experienced this? I’ve reset all the audio settings to their original state, rebooted the game multiple times, yet nothing has changed. The only sounds I can hear are the ones when units spawn and that annoying horn that blares whenever there’s a battle.
I’ve ran into this a few times and it continues into the next games, mine just fixed itself after I stopped playing for the night and went on the next day !

yes restarting helps annoying
