I recently began playing DE with my friends after not doing so for many years.
They are certain that there isn’t a bonus where you can substitute 20% castle stone with wood, but I’m almost certain that one faction in one of the campaigns has this bonus.
Can someone please confirm this and tell me which faction/campaign this is so that I can prove my friends wrong?
This is the unique tech of Slavs
Like others have stated unique tech of slavs.
Do note that you still need a fully paid castle before this ever takes effect, and that slavs don’t have many upgrades on their castles.
It’s mainly a boost to boyar production, and technically you could sell your surplus stone savings.
Lastly, the change is pretty new, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there are people who missed it.
Yes!
The unique tech from Slavs!
Warning: If you do research the tech, make sure to remember you have it when trying to get your next castle.
(Definitely not speaking as someone who recently sold all their wood to buy stone, only to then not have enough wood to afford a new castle…)
That is Detinets from the Slavs, and the campaign you’re thinking of is Dracula.
