Can One Automatically Attack Enemy by Destroying Palisade Wall?

Suppose you have three spearman attacking a wall located in the enemy base’s far side, and you wish for them to fight back instead of succumbing to scouts’ attacks.
No way to do that except pay attention to the minimap/attack sound notification
If your opponent sends scouts to fight off spears you’ve already won
If you stand next to the wall and put them on stand ground will that not work?
Didn’t try, but what if you attack-move to the palisade?
Don’t clicks walls put them in aggressive stance if there’s no units around they’ll default to buildings
