During my game against the Persians, my opponent continued to spam light cavalry towards me despite having no gold resources.
After reviewing the game replay, I noticed that his gold reserves never decreased despite producing around 50 units from the stables without any gold mining or trade carts.
This situation left me confused as I thought only Persian archers would not cost gold with their technology.
Can you please clarify if I have misunderstood something?
