Pc issues with Aoe2 and only that.

I can play a game before it all shuts down my screen goes black I can hear discord in the background then 20 seconds later my pc shutsdown.

If I play anything else my pc is fine BG3, Ow, Apex.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I have tried all the basic level fixes.

Your description closely matches memory leak issues in Windows paired with maybe problem causing graphic drivers.

I would go for a quick Google search for memory leak issues with AoE and check what recent result it throws up.

Hope you can find a definitive answer to resolve the issue.

Hi!

Can you try disabling Nvidia, Steam and Discord overlays?

Could you also try disabling mods?

It might be that an outdated mod is causing issues.

Finally, is also recommended to disable any third party antivirus, if you are using.
