a small tool to fix Age of Empires 2 Could not initialize graphics system. make sure that you video card and driver are compatible with DirectDraw (The Conquerors, Age of Kings)
(Version 2.0 auto detect game path) Regardless... make sure the game path is correct then hit the "download & apply fix" button (You need internet to download the fixes). The tool include the color fix without having to exit Explorer.exe. UserPatch is also included as a resort in case the fix did not work.

That’s because your game installation is missing the folder ‘\Sound\’ folder. Please create an empty folder and call it “Sound”. Then try again

Hi please help me I am not able to play the game after though I downloaded your camping fixing version but when I paste the link of the game on fixing version it’s says that -An error occured while extracting your archive access to the path of the age of empire.cpn is denied
I answered you on youtube and you seem to have fix it. Just for others that may view this comment, the issue was because of Windows Defender/Antivirus blocking the download or extraction of files.

my game is in local disk d when i paste the address its giving the invalid path error
That happens if your game path is missing a folder which is often “\Sound\” or other folders.
These are all the folders:

Ai
Campaign
Data
History
Random
Resources
SaveGame
Scenario
Screenshots
Sound
Taunt
Notice a missing folder? simply create it and the app should run.
