I am not a fan of games that only last for a few hours or days. I would prefer a mode that allows me to build and maintain a village over a longer period of time, such as weeks or even months. This would allow me to continue to expand my territory, conquer more land and keep my village going for years.
No, i am not aware of such a mode for AOE2, sorry.
Aoe is an rts, not a sim. At best you can do a 1v1 vs AI on ludicrous map size, but even that’s not going to last months.
