It appears that a large majority of people are interested in playing maps other than Arabia. I understand the need for a variety of maps, but it seems that many players would be willing to pay a premium for the opportunity to avoid playing on closed and water maps. Playing this game should be enjoyable, but with the current system of map rotations, some games can be tedious and unenjoyable. Although it is not possible to have everyone choose their own maps, it would be beneficial to have more options available to ensure everyone can have a fun and enjoyable experience.

So basically you just want to play the same boring old map over and over and over again until the end of time? Don’t most people like some sort of variety in the game? Any other game it would be absurd to suggest everyone play the same map every round.
It’s a strategy game. Where is the strategy in playing one map over and over and over again? .. and especially alt F4 when you don’t get your way! It sounds like your only strategy is only being good at one map.
People who only enjoy Arabia and make it a big deal are the kind of people that think Missionary is the only acceptable position.
I’d rather have a houseboat only queue.
this problem even WAY worse in tg, when just 1 guy can ban the most wanted and desired map( arabia) for the other 7 players
From the day I first started up Definitive Edition, I have banned Arabia from my map pool.
It is banned to this day, and I doubt that I will ever unban it.
“Random map” players when they get any other maps besides Arabia. Go make custom lobbies for Arabia only. Pretty sure the discord has enough people who like Arabia you could consistently find opponents.
Can some one please make an arabia only discord so that we can refer these whiners to that ples
When i think of an Arabia only person all i can picture is an expressionless, grey man sitting in a grey house on a grey street in a grey city and the only deviation from the grey in his life is the white, crustless bread that makes up his entire diet
In my last 10 games 0 arabia, few city of lakes and northern isles, and all other games arena or nomad,. ~900 elo
The system works in a way that if majority of people chose/ favourite a particular map, the map will be given to them. So the arabia only guyz are claiming that majority of players (around 70%) are choosing arabia yet the system still gives other maps. How logical is this assumption, i must ask?
Singe Player skirmishes exist. Just saying…

I’ve to perma waste a ban on arabia, but I get that not everybody is a nomad otp lol
