I believe that the standard random map games tend to be based on Conquest as the victory setting.
However, I think that Wonder and Relic victories are more interesting as they provide a different challenge and give players who may not be strong in aggression a chance to win through defense.
Unfortunately, it seems that these options are not as popular anymore.
Would it be possible to create a game mode where Conquest is disabled and the only victory options are Wonder and Relic?
This could be a team game where players are allied with each other, but the other team is neutral instead of being an enemy.
This way, players would not be able to attack the economy, but they could still attack the military units and buildings of the neutral team to prevent them from winning.
I am not sure if such a game mode exists, but it would be interesting to know if others would be interested in trying it out.
