MemberI propose the Khitan civilization to Age of Empires II, a cavalry-based civilization that emphasizes mobility and trading.
Their unique abilities and units will allow them to quickly move around the battlefield and gain an economic edge.
They will have access to all upgrades for cavalry and cavalry archers, as well as camels and Steppe Lancers.
However, they will have a weak navy and fortifications, and will not have access to the Siege Onager or the Siege Engineer.
Their unique tech, Militia Forager, will allow them to gain food when attacking enemy units, and their unique unit, the Royal Ordu, will provide an extra 20 gold upon death.
Their team bonus will grant their Market and Trade Cart increased Line of Sight.

Guest“Can trade with itself” will never be a good civ bonus.
It turns any and every market you throw up into a massive strategic point and lessens the importance of fighting for resources.
+1 sheep and +1 melee armor going into feudal is a rough sell, and much of this (res.
from fighting, sheep from TC, early extra food source, tanky cav archers/stable), would have me wondering why I didn’t just play the Tatars instead.

Guest1: This is basically a combination of Tatars and Incas bonuses, which isn’t great.
If you insist on a sheep bonus, I would recommend having Shepards generate gold in addition to food.
2: Fair enough.
You may want to reduce this to +1/2 melee armor in Castle/Imperial age but nothing wrong with foot archers resistant to melee damage.
3: Interesting.
Would need to be tested to see how strong this is, since at the moment your civ has Fully upgraded Paladin (I think, you barely have any info on your tech tree) with 200 HP AND Fully upgraded Arbalester with +3 Melee armor.
4: Horrible.
This is just a guaranteed win in the late game and lets you farm infinite gold.
Do away with this.
Team bonus: Fine
The concept of a high HP Cav Archer is fine, but I really need to know its cost and exact stats to have a real judgment on it.
The Unique techs are actually pretty cool.
I’d really like to know their costs since that’s an extremely important thing to know, but their concepts are cool.
You have decent ideas no doubt, but in general I’d like to know more specifics like this civs exact tech tree and the UUs stats and Cost.
Without that knowledge its hard to make a judgement.

Guest1.
Have you never heard of incas or tatars?
2.
Useless bonus IMO archers are too weak for melee armor to be useful.
3.
Nope, no way, this is Lithuanians thing.
4.
Translated: Win by 40 mins.
Seriously did you think this thru?
Team Bonus: Actually fine
UU: That’s a lot of armor, depending on the speed and attack this might be a good unit or OP, but you refuse to include details again?
Castle Age UT: This is fine but the rate and cost is important but you didn’t include details again.
Imperial UT: Just make it a discount or something, madrasa was bad for a reason.
Tech tree: So they have all stable options aside from elephants, all archer options, all barracks options, all monk options and bombard cannons?
Not even cumans or magyars or on that level of open tech tree.
