Yep Flemish Revolution needs to go
They need to remove Revolution but players are gonna use it in competitive until the Devs realize how dumb it is. Eventually, the Devs will listen to the players (I’ve seen them do it with islands relics after T90 mentioned it in HC3, 5th relic on middle island, and I remember a Hera suggestion that got a change soon after but I forget what it was).
It’s not like it would ruin burgundians, they are extremely strong without it.
Disagree, using flemish at the start was much more entertaining than using it at the end after not being able to win with fair means. It made it a lot more interesting and people were wondering if it would work out.
Let’s say we really need it to shine in a big tournament final once, so the devs finally realize this is so dumb and need to be reworked
lol, wtf you on? That was absolutely amazing what Hera did.
He 100% Balls’d into the strategy that could have majorly backfired… it was incredible to watch… a grand final that will be remembered simply BECAUSE of this.
I liked it. It’s part of the game – Liereey couldve picked or banned burgundians and the way Hera did it was unique and clever. Should be removed, yes, but that is still epic
Tell that to the people who defended this idiotic tech a few days ago when Liereyy used it. Even the pro players themselves think it should be removed.
That being said, I agree with the casters. It takes some balls to try the meme strat right away with such high stakes.

But yeah that tech needs to be nerfed drastically or removed…maybe make it like 1st Crusade and have it spawn Flemish Militia at each TC and let you make more. Personally I thought its use here was hilarious, especially after Liereyy did the exact same thing to Hera in the first round
Tell me this tech isn’t broken and what was Liereyy’s counterplay? Because he had the best defensive civ in the game and still lost miserably. And even if he defends the initial push, then what? Hera is back at 80-100 vills so the game continues as normal, but Larry loses all the momentum and his forward position. The button can go to hell!
