That Outcrop game was wild by Viper.
It feels like he’s fine with his opponent sitting in his base and not causing damage.
After that Vinch seemed to avoid his base because it didn’t yield results and ended up fighting the army and defending.
Viper gets criticized a lot for not walling, rightly so since it has cost him games, but it seems to have kept him safer in this game.
Feels like a mindgame to keep the fights far from his eco.
Villese really is a good counter to Viper because he doesn’t seem to fall for it.
Viper is also at fault because if he defends well a few times he doesn’t expect more raids.
Villese seems to exploit it because he will raid from different areas at the same time, hitting 2 resources at once while Viper tries to shift vills to a different resource that is also getting hit.
If Vinch split those crossbows, half on the top woodline, there is no telling how the game would have gone.
