It appears foolish to battle this, so the most sensible approach is to retreat and protect my castle as best as I can.
I fought it three days ago on Arena.
It’s very easy to predict, if they are Portuguese on Arena, there’s probably a > 90% chance it’s coming.
I made a couple of scouts in Feudal, which managed to deny the first Castle, and then Redemption Monks + Ballista Elephants worked great.
Monks with redemption can slow it down.
You can make archers and intercept the castle drop.
But I agree it is a bit too strong atm
If you’re fighting it after the castle is built on your face then your opponent will just get the relics while you’re distracted and will eventually win the game if you take it late.
You need to pre-emptively make army to stop the castle from being built or at least get him to make the castle in his own base so you can still get relics.
If he has a forward stone then you could also trush that
Dont allow castle to be built at your base.
Add redemption monks.
Build your own castle.
Rush to imp.
Hope you are faster and that he dosent go block printing + atonment to convert your monks.
