I posted something last night regarding difficulty beating the AI on the hard level.

I was overwhelmed by the helpful comments I received, which were full of useful advice.

I am incredibly grateful for the kind and welcoming attitude of the community.

This game has been around for two decades yet it still manages to bring me so much joy.

I want to thank everyone for their posts and for the happiness this game has brought to my life.

I still have trouble against Hardest without using better early game Civd.

And I was there lining up for Age of Conquerors.

Cheers to that, it really is a great community – I too am working on beating the hard AI – seems to depend greatly on the map/civ matchup whether I come out on top or not.

Great community indeed.

I played aoe2 like 20 years ago when I was a kid.

Recently brought de version for nostalgia, didn’t expect that the aoe2 community is still super alive and wholesome!

Till date, I have yet to find anything problematic about this gaming community.

Asking for help here is like yelling 23 and discovering responses that aren’t only 33.
