Following each update, my mods become deselected and I have to manually select them again.

This is especially inconvenient when I start a game, as I am then forced to stop and reconfigure all my mods.

I’m not sure why this is happening, as I haven’t heard anyone else mention the same issue, so I’m curious if I’m missing a setting that could prevent this from occurring.

You are kidding, right?

It’s like the most consistent type of thread after every single update.

Anyway no, you can’t prevent it, your best choice is to get a mod that changes the menu and hope that you’ll actually notice when menu reverts to default.

It’s intentionally done to prevent incompatibility bugs with new patches.

The solution is to use some mod for the main menu so you immediately know mods are disabled when you load the game.

Problem I have is that after a game I’m either too pumped that I won or too sore that I lost and look at the map, check stats etc.

and immediately queue up another.

Forgetting that I need to recheck my mods until the next one starts.

This repeats maybe about 5 times before we remember 😂
