I’m trying to complete the mission by having zero population of enemies, but the game doesn’t end when I bring Kotyan Khan to Hungary.

The only objective left is to protect my village, and ensure Kotyan’s survival.

I have slain a lot of Mongols and Tatars with my castles, so much so that Subotai is running out of horses and I’m running out of arrows.

Does anyone know how I can trigger the protect your village objective?

I think I may have caused a bug by getting “Bring Kotyan to Hungary” before I had finished “Reach Girgen Khan and his tribes”.

I attempted to defeat the Mongols shortly after I reached Girgen, but it didn’t work.

Subotai can’t be defeated quickly as I have trade and castles blocking his path.

Also, his spawn point can’t be directly reached by my units, they become grey when I get too close and then turn back to my control if possible.

Yeah, I tried did that earlier.

Turns out the Tatars are a trigger too.

I think the Mongols/Tatars have to attack the village before it becomes necessary for Kotyan to escape.
