Is the Game Sluggish?

After the launch of the game on Xbox, I have noticed that it runs very slowly and laggy.
Is this a common occurrence among other players?
Is there a way to fix this issue?
The color of the clock at the bottom right of my screen appears to be normal, so I don’t think that is the problem.
Mine is laggy too once I start amassing my militia.
I only play campaign and it’s very laggy from the beginning to the end of every match.
On series x.
