Is the Game Hacked or Modified Strangely?

Hello everyone.
I recently played a game and after 30 minutes, I received a strange mod warning.
I didn’t take a screenshot of it and just clicked on the okay button as there was no cancel option.
Later, when I quit the game, all the language settings were changed to something unusual.
However, after reloading the game, everything went back to normal.
I checked the mods folder, but there was no sign of any unusual mod.
Now, I am not sure what to do next.
Do you remember the exact wording?
Also was it a different alphabet or did it look like scrambled English letters?
