I chose to play as the Huns because I didn’t want to bother building houses which is a hassle. The map I used was Greece and Turkey, with the Aegean Sea in between them. It was easy to win once I reached the max level of cavalry and kept spamming 60 horses with large stables to replace them when they died. I conquered Turkey in 30 minutes and my army destroyed all the buildings from the other civilizations. I used up all the natural resources, leaving the environment barren. I figured out how to use transport ships and killed all the civilizations on Greece and its islands. After conquering the first civilization, I didn’t realize the population had a cap, thinking it was the starting population in the menu. My economy was almost non-existent, so I just sold the food from the farms in Turkey to buy wood. I eventually defeated all the civilizations, but the game didn’t end since there were still a few buildings left from some civilizations. I tried using the trading carts at the end, but I was unsure of what they did so I gave up.
Trade carts go from your market to an allies or enemies market and bring back gold from their market, you have to set a gather point or right click them there. Did you enjoy your first game?
