How Can I Enable Advanced Controls on Xbox?

I followed the instructions in the tutorial, but now the more advanced settings are disabled.
I searched on Google but couldn’t find any answers.
Has anyone figured out how to fix this?
I believe you need to enable the advanced interface somewhere in the interface options in the settings.
Was wondering about this as well after having gone through the tutorial.
The option to create groups with the dpad-LB hotkey makes using the advanced interface a must.
