Handle the Mongols on Megarandom

I recently played six games on Megarandom, and each one was against a Mongol opponent. It was the same thing each time; they’d fast castle and go for Steppe Lancers. With all the hunting available on MR, they have a lot of food. I only won one game where I was playing as Cumans and did a scout rush into a two town center boom into Steppe Lancers, while my opponent was playing Mangudai and lost. How can I punish these Mongol pickers on Megarandom? It’s on 900 ELO, by the way.

Go a strong knight civ. Burgundian castle age cavalier would wreck steppe lancers

I am 1.4k and ran into lot of mongol pickers recently. Issue is most of megarandom generations that I got had lots of hunt and stones. So basically mongols are a top pick.
I think it best way to play is go aggresive in feudal but it depends on the generation.
You can go britons. If it is a map with lots of sheep, then thats great. If not, you still have a good civ with excellent xbows that are great vs the lancers.
You can also play Gurjaras, take advantage of the extra sheep and use your camels to shred the lancers.
