Gain Elo Through Teutonic Maintenance

I used to always play different civilizations and had difficulty maintaining a rating of 1300. Recently, I decided to try out the Teutons and have been successful, winning 10 out of 11 games and reaching a rating of 14xx. I chose this civ because it is the easiest for me to play; I’m slow, so I appreciate the defensive capabilities, robust cavalry, and excellent farming bonus. I’m not very good with archers, so I tend to squander a large feudal advantage if I play them in the Castle Age.
Now that I have achieved 14xx, I am aware that this is not my true Elo and expect to be knocked back down to 12xx soon.
I have the highest winrate with them was well. The eco is very smooth and since they directly and indirectly nerfed xbow into oblivion for mid-ELO levels the Teutons only got stronger. While they lack mobility in the endgame and lose to CA easily, in “knight-dominated castle age games” you just … can’t lose. More armor and conversion resistance is SO GOOD. Build some monks of your own and most times the battle will snowball into gg.
You will cry when your opponent goes full CA in castle age
The teutons are fun to play, and I think overall the archers are a little more manageable than it might seem at first unless you’ve let things snowball away. Cav archers though are a nightmare.
archers are for wimps with small peters, so just keep playing teutons like a chad

What do you mean? That IS your true elo. If you played a tournament you would pick Teutons and your elo reflects that performance.

Teutons are a very strong civ on all lvls. Most underestimated civ due tp husbandry being the most overrated tech.
main any decent civ and ull gain 150 elo fast.
But playing random will help you slowly rise and eventually get more than 150 elo

Play whatever way you fun. If you just want to play Teutons, that’s ok.
That said, you may run into issues if you ever play a showmatch or tournament where you cannot repeat civs.
Anyone knows how to make archers not reshuffling when running/moving away from knights? Most of my archers get killed by knights when I change their direction from “towards knights” to “away from knights” due to the format reshuffle
