I just completed an awesome game of Hideout, pitting me (Bulgarians) against Slavs at a skill level of 920 ELO.
After being defeated by Franks in Atacama and then by Aztecs in Hideout, I was determined to win a game with infantry as Bulgarians.
We battled it out with infantry, and eventually my THS with Bagains overpowered his champions after 1 hour and 8 minutes of in-game time.
He incorporated crossbows and I utilized hussar.
I’m not sure if he had Druzinha (the one with splash damage) but I assume he did.
He attempted to cut me off with an onager at the end, but it was too late.
I’m not sure how to share the recording, but my in-game name is JH-the-terrible—at-this-game (with more hyphens!) if anyone wants to find it.
This victory is for all infantry lovers out there!
once 3 units fight side by side druzhina is stronger than any other infantry bonus.
So if you won the fight i guess your opponent forgot about it or didnt have enough food eco to sustain the unit numbers.

Sounds like it I’m curious to see since Slavs are one of my more favourite civs
