Occasionally, I enjoy playing games while having a drink.

Can you assist me in creating a drinking game based on Age of Empires?

Let’s establish the regulations for AOE and transform it into the popular custom lobby meta.

Recommend rules in the comments section.

Here are some I am thinking:

Lose a vil in dark age: 2 shots
Lose a vil in feudal: 1 shot
Opponent reaches castle age before you: 1 shot
Have a castle denied: 3 shots
    Lose a tc: 2 shots

Ok the more I think about this the more I think this will kill people.

Maybe it’s “sips” instead of shots. 11

Losing a vil to a boar has to finish a drink surely.

Losing a mangonel to a mangonel.

Losing your starting scout to a TC.

    Getting a scout converted.

    Housed.

I think if your opponent builds a wonder you’ve gotta have a drink every ten years while it’s up 11

Every time you encounter someone playing well below their actual level because they cannot handle losing, take a drink.

You’d have alcohol poisoning in a couple of hours

There has to be some rules for flexes.

Like if your opponent researches spies or builds a wonder!

First of all, if you’re ever doing this in a lobby please can I join?

I too like to drink and play (that’s what I blame my low ELO on)

    Here are my suggestions:

    – Every time you get housed = a sip

    – The first war horn = one sip

    – Every time you hit a new age = one sip

    – Each time your unit is converted = one sip

    – You lose a vil to a boar = 2 sips

    – You lose your trebs = 2 sips

    – You buy Supplies = 2 sips

    – You buy Murder Holes = 2 sips

    – Any call of GG = 3 sips

    – You make a Daut Castle = 3 sips

    – First sight of a flaming camel = 3 sips

    – You create Longbowmen = 3 sips

    – You play as Franks = 5 sips (this must be done before gameplay)

    – You get countered as Franks by Hindustanis = 10 sips

Edit: changed it to not kill the guy

Game lenght rules: housed=1 shot (not counting max pop and 0 pop spaces)

    Age specific rules:

Dark age: lose a vil to militia 1 shot, forced off of berries or a woodline, 2 shots, lose a vil to boar 2 shots.

    Lose your scout, 2 shots.

Down 3 shots if your feudal time is more than 11:00 (if your strat is rushing in feudal) 17:00 if fast castling

Feudal age: one building destroyed=1 shot.

Eating a mangonel shot, 1 shot.

If your army is completely cleaned up, 2 shots

    So far this is enough.

Take a shot for each unit you lose to conversion

Take a shot for each juicy enemy mangonel hit on your units

I made one a couple years ago for a lobby with my mates.

I found the rules out from our Discord:

Pint glasses in use (to help standardise measures)

At the start of the game you must down 1 beer before you can touch your mouse or keyboard.

Click to advance to next age – 3 fingers of beer
    Tech researched – 1 finger
Unique tech/ elite unique unit researched – 2 fingers.

    Paladin/Arbalest researched – 4 fingers
    Lose a castle – 3 fingers
Hole in your wall – 3 fingers
    Have a unit converted – 2 fingers
    Lose a unit to a wild animal/boar – 3 fingers
If on a hybrid map: Lose a transport with units in – 4 fingers
Each player that resigns before you – 3 fingers
    Build a Town Center – 3 fingers
Down a drink if you ring the town bell.

Lose a unit (non building) to a trebuchet – 3 fingers
Lose scout to Town Center – 3 fingers

It was mostly designed to punish both good/meta play and also really dumb play.

FYI the best of us was maybe 950ELO, the worst would probably be about 300…

every time a villager brings back a load of wood, take a shot.

    >Their death was …

    sudden.
