Do Villagers Gather Particular Foods Quickly?

I always employ all of my villagers to collect resources from my sheep, go hunting, and then work the farms.
However, while watching replays, I noticed that my opponents usually employ a variety of strategies when it comes to resource collection.
I have wondered if civilizations with certain bonuses are able to gather food more quickly from farms than regular villagers, or if they can acquire resources from fishing and hunting faster than usual.
Berries are the slowest followed by sheep followed hunt followed by fish.
With farms the limiting factors are the movement speed of the villagers and the production cycle of the farm

tl;dr: fish > hunt > sheep > berries > farms (realistically)
Gathering from a food source often gets more inefficient, the more villagers you have in that source.
Thats why you want to spread your villagerd between food sources.
Another reason is to reduce walking time.

I believe fishing is fastest, followed by hunting, then sheep and then berries.
Food is a core part of the aoe2 economy.
Dark age farms are the slowest food income, its fairly slow in the actual gather rate but its the wood cost that really makes it bad.
As farming is so slow there is a big incentive to collect other food sources before transitioning to farming.
