It’s the same game, same civs, same bonuses, same strategies, same content in general…

the only difference is controls and maybe slightly changed build orders to accommodate for the automated stuff (idk I’m still not sure how it works).

Console players will mostly have the same questions and opinions to share as PC players

It’s definitely not necessary, the same way it’s not necessary to have 2 subs for HD and DE for example

    It’s the same game.

It just had a large influx of new players, and you want them to go somewhere else because you’re annoyed at their noobishness?

    Gtfo dude.

Reddit sub is more than just making posts about next longsword buff, civ change or adding new civs.

I do enyoy a bit of change.

    No.

U guys need to chill and not be gatekeepers.

They just want to learn the game and have questions.

U should rather help them than complain.

    Everyone starts somewhere.

Nah, aoe2 community isn’t that big.

Xbox release is a great opportunity for the community to grow.

I don’t think we should divide it into two.

It’s the same game in the end.

What if PC gets controller support?

Would you add yet another sub for that?

Many games are multiplatform and they don’t have platform-specific subs.

I understand there’s a lot of noise now because of the xbox release, but things will calm down soon.

I’m sorry but how is this any worse than the usual spam of absolutely dog**** ideas for balance changes and new civs.

If the question is a quick one with short answer, they could ask it on Medieval Monday thread instead of opening a new thread and we should encourage them to do so, but I’m not in favor of creating a new sub for them.

They are now part of our community
